(More customer reviews)Granted, I am a personal friend of Ranger Dick and I am truly biased towards the beauty of Yosemite, but I found this book to be a great help. It has wonderful advice on places to be sure to see, places to stay and eat, as well as park rules and safety tips. The maps and illustrations are great, too. There are listings of easy, moderate, and difficult hikes - all of which will give you an amazing view that you will never forget. For anyone who likes to make notes while flipping through hiking guides and books, there is room for your own highlights. If you only have one or two days in Yosemite I recommend reading this book in advance, mapping-out exactly what you want to do, and then make a reservation for a much longer trip next time. :)
